Lasagna and Alemania

I’m starting to get to the point where I kind of have an idea how a date is supposed to go, but I still have moments where I’m surprised by my lack of foresight.

Also i’m not in Germany. We have a couple of pumps in the Rhine Valley and the oldest one seems to be taking a dump. So instead of going to a ribbon cutting ceremony and then skipping down cobble stone streets for a few days i’ll be spending a couple of weeks pulling and installing an old pump. Glass half full says this is an opportunity to build a relationship with a new client, but part of me is not excited about spending two weeks in the freezing cold when I could be working on my tan at home. C’est la vie.
